J.V. Blue Rage Victorious Over BTHS West

The Freeburg Blue Rage sent a clear message last night that they intend to bring home the trophy as they defeated Belleville West in playoff hockey.

West got on the board early and held a 1-0 lead going into the second period. C. Flynn scored the first Blue Rage goal at 8:55 (asst. B. Biermann) and the second period ended in a tie. B. Hoge fired the winning shot at 9:36 in the third (asst. C. Pees) and Freeburg was able to protect that lead for a final score of 2-1.

Playoff action resumes this Saturday at 8:30 as Freeburg faces of against Edwardsville South in Fairview. Come out and cheer the boys on. GO BLUE RAGE!!!
