Despite numerous shots on goal Freeburg J.V. found themselves losing by a single goal with 1:37 left to play. A gutsy call to pull the goalie paid off when Nick Nickens scored for the Blue Rage with 50 seconds left on the clock.
Freeburg then called a final time out with 15 seconds left and gave it their all trying to score the winning goal. Unfortunately, time ran out and the boys had to settle for a final score of 1-1. Come cheer the team on when they face the Waterloo Bulldogs this Saturday at 6:10. Go Blue Rage!!!
